June 19, 2025
Dear Parents,
I would like to thank you for a fantastic 2024-2025 school year. We are so proud of each student and all the progress they have made over the course of this year. As I reflect on this school year, I think about how fortunate we are to be in a wonderful community where education, community pride and excellence are valued. Lakeland Christian Academy is an exceptional place to grow, learn and achieve. Please tell your friends and neighbors about this alternative to public education as we are accepting new students for the fall. We appreciate all your efforts to ensure that your children succeed.
Our year end awards and kindergarten grad will be held on Saturday, June 21 at 7:00. This is a great time to invite family, friends, and neighbours to help celebrate the hard work our students have done this year. The students’ creations and awards that they earned at Regional and International Student Conventions will be on display. This is a great opportunity to spread the word about the great things that are happening at LCA.
Please make sure that your child continues to sharpen their academic skills throughout the summer. Encourage them to read books based on the grade they are entering in the fall. Having them read aloud is a great way to spend quality time with your child and will help them with proper pronunciation and comprehension.
The monthly school calendar for the 2025-2026 school year can be found on our website. Our first day of classes is Wednesday, August 27th.
Office hours for the summer vary from day to day. We will be in the office full time by August 18th. Please send any payments to the school office by 25th of each month to ensure that the payment is reflected on your billing statement. If you have fallen behind in you payments, please make every effort to settle your account in full before the new school year begins. Gift cards can be purchased throughout the summer after church services at Harvest Life Victory Church on Wednesday night at 7:00 and Sunday morning at 10:00. Also, we can take gift card orders via email. We encourage you to keep working towards your fundraising goal.
Please enjoy the summer with your family, time goes by so very quickly.
I am looking forward to seeing you on Saturday.
