Dear Parents,

Believe it or not, we are almost finished our third quarter for the year and hopefully we will see spring weather on a regular basis. Here are a few things to take note of for next month.

Unfortunately, due to scheduling our Third Quarter Awards has to be held during the school day. We will be having awards on Tuesday, April 19 at 2:15. For those of you that can make it, please contact the school office so we know how many will be in attendance. This is always a great time as our students perform drama and music.

This is a good time to replenish your child’s school supplies. It seems that most students need pencils again. Also children seem to grow as spring arrives so many of the students need new (larger) gym uniforms. Please ensure that your child has a gym uniform that is long enough to cover their bellies and their ankles when stretching as well as one that is free from holes. If you require new uniforms, please contact the school office. We always want our students looking their best especially at regionals.

The Intermediates and High School Students are preparing for the Student Regional Convention. This is our focus in many of our classes and breaks. More details about their trips will be given next week.

We are now accepting applications for kindergarten through grade 12 for the next school year. It is important to have our children in a school that will protect our children and not compromise the Word of God. It has been our experience that “Word of Mouth” is our best advertising tool. If you know anyone that has a child entering Kindergarten in the fall or who may be interested in having their child a part of what God is doing in and through Lakeland Christian Academy, please have them call to get more information and book an interview. Also we have flyers available to hand out and our website is always a good resource for those inquiring about our school.

Re-registration forms are available at the school. Please pick them up and return them to us by May 16. This will help us to budget for the coming school year.

We have a great group of students and believe God’s best for them. If you have any questions, please feel free to call.

God Bless,

Lynda Amesmann
